This is the Ahmed body problem, which is a benchmark test for external flow of automobiles with a simplified shape.
- Using Baram-v6.2, we created and calculated the grid and provided it as a tutorial.
- We compared the experimental results at a rear inclination angle of 25 degrees and an inlet speed of 40 m/s, and calculated the Cd accurately.
- About 780,000 grids were created using cfMesh.
- We used simpleNFoam solvers and realizable k-epsilon turbulence models.
